About Our Company

The mission of Biotronics, Inc. is to develop products
and services for ultrasound evaluation of body composition and quality of beef cattle and swine.  Biotronics develops, manufactures, and sells systems that support image capturing, processing and database processes for both live animals and carcasses.  Applications include supporting field capturing of real-time ultrasound images collected on seed stock livestock species for genetic analysis of compositional and quality meat traits and online scanning of pork carcasses for percent lean and amount of marbling. 

Biotronics is a servicing company for interpretation of food animal ultrasound images using highly-skilled personnel along with automated computer-based image processing algorithms.  The company conducts training and continuing education on all aspects of image capturing and interpretation of meat composition and quality traits using real-time ultrasound technologies.
